‘My daughter died of ME’
Merryn Crofts, who died last May at the age of 21, is only the second person in the UK to have ME recorded as their cause of death.
In their first broadcast interview since the inquest, Merryn's mother Clare Norton and her sister Amy told ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Radio 5 Live’s Anna Foster about the degenerative impact of the condition.
Clare said her daughter "lost her bounce" when she started to develop symptoms of ME (myalgic encephalomyelitis), also known chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), at the age of 15.
