Building blocks for Open glory
British golfing legend Sandy Lyle has revealed he played with Lego on the morning of his famous 1985 Open victory. Lyle told 5 live Sportsweek that 'killing time' is a major problem for any golfer going out on the final day of a big tournament. 'It's a bit like going to the dentist and you don't really know if it’s going to be a pleasurable experience or painful.' Lyle played possibly his last ever Open round at this year's Championship in Carnoustie, but he'll always have fond memories of that 1985 win and his unconventional preparation before tee off.
