How slugs could help repair organs

Slugs are the inspiration behind a pioneering medical adhesive, which might be able to repair organs that move - like the heart and lungs. Dr Adam Celiz, from the Department of Bioengineering at Imperial College London, explains how the slime - produced by the Dusky Arion slug - is so sticky, it acts like a glue even when it鈥檚 wet.
