When the US Shot Down an Airliner
On 3 July 1988, a US warship, the USS Vincennes, shot down an Iranian Airbus airliner over the Persian Gulf killing all 290 on board. Witness speaks to Rudy Pahoyo, a former US Navy cameraman, who was documenting naval operations in the Gulf and happened to be on board the Vincennes at the time.
