Nicki and Rab: Life at the Sharp End
Retired Civil Engineer Rab met former bar manager Nicki at a New Year's Eve party in Penrith eighteen years ago and they've been friends ever since. They class themselves as normal people who just happen to have terminal cancer. At 39 Nicki is one of the youngest day patients at Penrith Hospice, and Rab is twenty three years her senior.
