Following on from a successful first two years, the organisers delved even deeper "into the wonders of the lost kingdom" to bring you more stages, more activities, more music, more food choices "and more magic than ever before".

Headliners included Sister Sledge, Wilkinson and Maribou State while Shy FX, Redlight, David Rodigan and Artful Dodger also performed at El Dorado this year.

The stars turned out in their droves, last Saturday, for the annual gig that takes place at Worcestershire County Cricket Club.

Westlife/Boyzone combi Boyzlife, Chesney Hawkes, Eternal star Louise and Whigfield were among the names on the outfield at New Road as thousands enjoyed the music and sunny weather.

There was one hiccup, however; Chesney Hawks' drummer forgot his drumkit!

Elgar Archives

Elgar Archives
The campaign to keep the Edward Elgar archives in Worcestershire has failed.

Despite a petition and huge crowd funding effort, they've been moved out of the county.听

The Elgar Foundation confirmed they've sent the famous composers letters and music manuscripts to the British Library, leaving local campaigners furious.

We asked the Foundation for an interview but they refused; we also asked if they would like to provide a statement to explain their decision - and they simply said "no".听

Former West Mercia Police Chief Constable Paul West, who launched the crowd funding effort, says he experienced the same reaction from the Foundation.

Monthly roadshows
If you run a venue or you鈥檙e a music promoter, then we want to hear from you!

Since the beginning of 2011, we've taken our 成人快手 Introducing show out on-the-road to various areas across our patch to bring people a flavour of the local music scene.

Every month, we rock up at a different venue with a pile of microphones, cables and recording equipment along with several vans full of enthusiastic musicians!

As well as the bands being able to invite an audience, we also bring along a number of music industry professionals to comment on the live acts.

We tend to host our sessions on evenings/weekends is because it's normally a quiet time for venues - so effectively you get a free gig curated with the best bands (from the thousands who have submitted their music to us), full tech provided, plus听听- so effectively you just need to open your doors!
