The cost of blocking out my accident
Natalie du Toit is an Olympic and Paralympic swimmer from South Africa, who refused to be held back by a scooter accident, which led to her left leg being amputated below the knee. Three months later she was back in the pool and the following year she was competing again on an international level. But Natalie says that her single-minded pursuit of Olympic and Paralympic glory did come with a cost.
