Rory Best still hasn't collected his OBE

Ireland captain Rory Best has admitted he's yet to collect his OBE from Buckingham Palace because of his playing schedule!

The Irish hooker was awarded an OBE for services to the sport in the Queen's Birthday Honours List, back in June.

Best said: "There have been a couple of dates and they just haven't fit, they seem to like to do it around European Cup weeks.

When asked if his schedule wasn't fitting in with the Queen's, Best jokingly replied: "Yeah, we're just not aligned. Hopefully we'll get that in the very near future."

Best was on tour in New Zealand with the British and Irish Lions when he was made aware of the news.
