Mum at children's hospice: 'It's given us a life'
Becky, whose daughter Emily has life-limiting health conditions, said the children's hospice in Blackpool has helped create good memories, as well as care for her daughter.
Emily was born with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, chronic lung disease and many other health problems
Becky provides 24-hour care for her daughter at home, but Brian House Children's Hospice is there to help when she needs a break.
"It's hard work. It was relentless, the feeding, the vomiting, the medicine routine," said the single mum.
"You think of a hospice as end-of-life care and it's not, it's given us a life."
"When Emily does pass away, I will have so many good memories that won't be of when she's been poorly in hospital," added the 30-year-old.
