Inside Hurricane Harvey

Karen Kosiba is an atmospheric scientist based at the Center for Severe Weather Research in Boulder, Colorado. When a hurricane is on its way, Karen aims to place herself in its path, in order to study its winds. In August 2017, as Hurricane Harvey was intensifying, Karen and her team set off for Texas with their radar truck in order to gather data.
