World Transplant Winter Games and period pants

A Luton businessman who battled kidney failure has won a gold medal at the World Transplant Winter Games. Dino Maroudias, represented Team GB in the curling and snow shoe walking, where all his fellow team mates and competitors were all transplant survivors.

Plus Ruby Raut from St Albans has created the very first period pants that negate the need for other sanitary products. Hoping to help break the taboos around menstruation around the world her project WUKA wear aims to reduce the waste generated from single use tampons and pads.
