The Fix: 'I can't put myself through this, I can't put the kids through this'
Joanne became addicted to heroin and pregnant when she was 16. She went on to have several more children while remaining addicted to drugs. She felt she couldn't access treatment without losing her children. She talks to our reporter Milly Chowles about how she now supports other addicted mothers in the community and describes the power of hearing stories about mothers in recovery.
