"The federation care more about men's football than women's"
This time last year the Nigerian women's team beat Cameroon to lift their 10th Africa Cup of Nations trophy in Yaounde.
It wouldn't be unusual to assume that achievement would transform the lives of the players and cement women's football in Africa on the map.
However that has not been the case, since that final twelve months ago, neither the Super Falcons nor Cameroon have played a single match or held so much as a training session.
Desire Oparanozie scored the goal that handed Nigeria victory in that final and she told Sportsworld how concerned she is that her nation will never reach the same heights again...
