Opera Silver Birch looks at the human tragedies of conflicts past and present, not only on combat soldiers but also on their families back at home.

This film follows four military veterans, Topsy, Beverley, Luke and Paula, as they join the chorus and eventually sing on stage at Garsington Opera House.
