Bonding over a mutual appreciation for 60s/70s rock 'n' roll, punk and gospel, the Worcester three-piece, The Americas, dropped everything in their lives and decided to chase that thin wild mercury sound that howled out from the records that they love.

They're influenced by acts such as Bob Dylan and The Rolling Stones and have just come back from a full UK tour.

鈥淭he real gritty sound of 60s and 70s rock & roll delivered with power, punch and energy鈥 - Andrew Marston.

Charity gig

Charity gig
A charity gig, set up to remember the brother of a Herefordshire musician, will be taking place in the city next Saturday.

Heart of Anarchy will mark the tenth anniversary since Raphael La Roche lost his brother Andr茅 to an undetected artery condition which resulted in heart failure.

Both lovers of punk, Raphael says: "He was my big brother, my idol from childhood, and we were as close as two brothers could be. Best friends. Until his sudden and unexpected death in November 2007 from undiagnosed Atherosclerosis听- a condition of the heart which causes the arteries to harden and cease to function.鈥

The gig, which started two years ago as a disco playing punk records, has now grown to a 13-hour live music marathon.

The event takes place from midday until 1am at The Grapes, .

Track of the Week

Track of the Week
Emily Ewing is a 28-year-old songwriter originally from Birmingham who now lives in Pershore.

成人快手 Introducing in Ross-on-Wye

成人快手 Introducing in Ross-on-Wye
This month's sessions were recorded at The Phoenix Theatre in Ross-on-Wye, which used to be the town's fire station.

The team behind the productions formed nearly 100 years ago at the Corn Exchange, which burned down in 1939.

They then moved to The Roxy Theatre, which closed, and in 1982 moved to their present location at the top of the town.

They extended the facility 20 years later and now host events almost every weekend.

Robert Plant at 成人快手 Maida Vale

Robert Plant at 成人快手 Maida Vale
No stranger to Maida Vale, Kidderminster's Robert Plant first played there with Led Zeppelin back in 1969.

Fast forward some 48 years, Robert's eleventh studio album, Carry Fire, is out this month and re-unites him with the Sensational Space Shifters.

The band now includes fiddling folk star Seth Lakeman, who joins them for this performance.

"We had no money, no label and wanted to give up several times," says frontman Dom Ganderton."
