Anthony Joshua’s “one defective gene” as a boxer
Boxing writer and broadcaster Steve Bunce says WBA and IBF World heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua’s only flaw as a boxer is that he likes ‘fighting’ too much.
Joshua was drawn into a thrilling slug-fest against Wladimir Klitschko back in April, a fight he eventually won in the 11th round after being sent to the canvas in the 6th.
Joshua’s trainer Rob McCracken has said he prefers Joshua to fight a more controlled style, but Bunce believes Joshua relishes the physical encounters that are a throwback to boxing in the 1950’s and 60’s.
