The Sri Lankan Hindus boycotting Diwali

A small but growing number of young Sri Lankan Hindus are refusing to celebrate Diwali. The Rama/Sita story is linked to the festival, and the most common interpretation of the tale paints the enemy Ravanan as a demon from Sri Lanka.
