Death in a day: plague in Madagascar
The country is experiencing one of the worst plague outbreaks in recent years, claiming the lives of at least 30 people. Dr Katharina Kreppel is from the Ifakara Health Institute in Tanzania and spent four years conducting field research in Madagascar. She told Dan Damon about why this outbreak is so dangerous.
