成人快手 Minute: On the war in Yemen - Cholera
成人快手 Minute talks to 成人快手 correspondent Nawal al-Maghafi about a conflict largely forgotten by the outside world: Yemen. The United Nations says the war which has raged since March 2015 has killed more than five thousand civilians, displaced more than three million people, and left more than seven million on the brink of famine.
Yemen is currently suffering with the world鈥檚 worst cholera outbreak in recent memory. More than half a million people have been infected with the disease, which is easily treatable with the right medical equipment, and more than 1,900 cholera-related deaths have been reported across the country according to the UN. More than a third of suspected cases affect children.
