Saving Stonehenge
Stonehenge is one of the most famous ancient monuments in the world. Unfortunately it is situated near a very busy road, and the pollution from traffic is causing damage. Today the UK government announced plans to construct a tunnel, almost two miles long, beneath the stones. Will this be a solution to the problem? Professor David Jacques is an archaeologist from the University of Buckingham who manages digs on the site. He does not think that this is a good idea.
