Riscas have had an incredible journey and really demonstrate what 成人快手 Introducing is all about.

They sent their music into us, here at 成人快手 Hereford & Worcester, and we loved it so much we played it on the radio and passed it onto 成人快手 Radio 1.

Just a couple of weeks later, their track , gaining support from the likes of Greg James, Alice Levine, Clara Amfo, Dev and Scott Mills, which got them to #4 on Spotify's Most Viral in the UK.

They formed as part of a college course and are influenced by The 1975 and Bob Marley.

"One of the most exciting bands in the Midlands right now who steal the show with their live performances" - Andrew Marston.

8 - 9 September: Onboard The Craft, Bromsgrove

8 - 9 September: Onboard The Craft, Bromsgrove
Onboard The Craft is the sister festival of Sonic Rock Solstice, which is also held at the Stoke Prior Sports & Country club.

Other events to be held on the site include Beermageddon and Breaking Bands.

The organisers describe it as "two days of outstanding sounds and amazing music".

Lakefest highlights: Creation Records

Lakefest highlights: Creation Records
They were one of the most influential independent record labels in the world - and this week, we meet the former managing director of Creation Records.

We bumped into Tim Abbott backstage at the Eastnor Castle Deer Park during Lakefest and chatted to him about Oasis, Primal Scream and Fatboy Slim.

Many people in Herefordshire know the founder, Alan McGee, now lives in Hay-on-Wye.

So we saw our chance meeting with Tim as an opportunity to ask about breaking into the music industry!

Bromyard Folk Festival

Bromyard Folk Festival
One of the country's longest-running folk events is celebrating it's 50th anniversary in Herefordshire this weekend.

The Bromyard Folk Festival is based on Broad Bridge Farm, as well as other venues across the town.

Organiser Lynne Barker says it's come a long way since starting in a shed in 1968!

成人快手 Introducing at Lakefest
This month's sessions were recorded at Eastnor Castle Deer Park as part of this year's Lakefest.

Headliners included Wilko Johnson, Aswad, The Charlatans, Badly Drawn Boy, Feeder, Imelda May, Rozalla and Seth Lakeman.

Organisers say it's one of the fastest growing festivals in the UK and 成人快手 Hereford & Worcester had a tent at the festival for the three days, showcasing local talent from across the area.听

Upton Festival highlights

Upton Festival highlights
Six thousand people turned out for the Upton Festival over the Bank Holiday Weekend.

This year, it featured a host of pop legends including Paul Young, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Blue and Heatwave - and has been described by organisers as the best one yet.

They've already announced Status Quo as next year's headliners - but, as we hear on this week's show, most of the crowd (it appeared) were there to see Kim Wilde!

New album: Overend Watts

New album: Overend Watts
Ross-on-Wye's Overend Watts, who died earlier this year, was a bass player, record producer, songwriter, author and founder member of Mott the Hoople, and the driving force behind the reunion shows of 2009 and 2013.

Before his death, following a long illness, he finally completed the solo album he'd been promising to deliver to his legion of fans for the past decade.

'He's Real Gone' was originally called 'She's Real Gone', after track 1, but decided it would be funnier to release the work posthumously and to rename the album.

All songs, apart from the final track, were recorded in Herefordshire. That song is Overend's original demo of the song Born Late 58 which he sang on Mott The Hoople's final album in 1974.

成人快手 Introducing at the Worcester Music Festival

成人快手 Introducing at the Worcester Music Festival
Our next recording session takes place on Sunday 17 September at Drummonds, as part of the Worcester Music Festival.

This annual event 听was first staged in 2008 by Chris Bennion, who makes Worcestershire Sauce.

He set up a website called NotJustSauce - aiming to put Worcester on the map musically.

It's been dubbed as Britain's version of SXSW in Texas!

Taking place in around multiple venues across the city, from pubs, clubs, restaurants and cafes to historic buildings, river cruisers, record shops, on the streets and even in breweries, the festival is absolutely free to attend with hundreds of gigs to choose from.
