Making Radio Waves: The Hay Day of the Pirate Stations

It was 50 years this week since the passing of the Marine Offences Act, which outlawed pirate radio stations, knocking the likes of Radio Caroline and Radio Scotland 鈥 the original version 鈥 off air. Former Radio Scotland DJs Tony Meehan and Peter Bowman came into the studio to chat about what life was like broadcasting from a small boat anchored off in international waters.
