Coming home to Detroit
After years of economic blight, Detroit has recently been working to repurpose thousands of abandoned homes. At first, a lot of foreign buyers swooped in, taking advantage of rock-bottom prices. But now locals have started to buy them back. Phillip Martin, a Detroit native, recently visited his childhood home, and was startled by what he found.
