Upton-upon-Severn's Karyo have been playing together in various guises since high school.

The band comprises three core members, Tom, Duncan and Luke, accompanied by various other musicians "when the mood takes us" - although they've just added a permanent听singer.

Despite the traditional band setup, the music is an eclectic mix of alt rock, hip-hop, electro and funk with samples scattered liberally throughout.

"One of the catchiest festival bands around - it鈥檚 no wonder they were asked to play Glastonbury at their first gig together!" - Andrew Marston.

成人快手 Music at Lakefest

成人快手 Music at Lakefest
Lakefest comes back to Herefordshire this weekend, with headliners Imelda May, Feeder and the Charlatans among the acts performing.

Organisers say it's one of the fastest growing festivals in the UK, and this year will be the biggest yet.

Around 8,000 tickets have sold for the festival at Eastnor Deer Park, which is in its sixth year.

Our 成人快手 Introducing show is there, hosting three days of live music. So tonight's show we'll be playing music from all of those artists.

We'll also hear from the people who have put together this amazing show, along with music fans and an interview with a couple who met at Lakefest who are now married!

Lakefest: Feeder

Lakefest: Feeder
21 top 40 records, 10 albums, 5 million record sales - and this weekend, Feeder have been in Herefordshire!

The group, which formed in 1992, played on the main stage at Lakefest last night, but before stepping out into the spotlights - 成人快手 Introducing's Andrew Marston asked them for their advice for up-and-coming musicians.

Also on tonight's show... We'll hear from one of their managers, David Rowell, who's worked also worked with Sarah Brightman and Bros.

He's now worked with Feeder for two decades - and has never managed to drag his parents, from Bromyard, to a Feeder gig...until now!

Lakefest: Wilko Johnson

Lakefest: Wilko Johnson
He was given just months to live and was told to "rock out while you still can" - tonight we hear the incredible story of Wilko Johnson, who was given a new lease of life thanks to one Lakefest fan.

The former Dr Feelgood and Blockheads musician appeared on stage last night - but one of those people watching in the audience is the man who saved his life.

According to the organisers, Charlie Chan, from Cheltenham, happened to be at one of Johnson's "last-ever gigs" when he came to the conclusion "there's absolutely no way you could be holding the guitar like that if you had the cancer you've been diagnosed with".

Hear the full story on this week's show.

Lakefest: K-Klass

Lakefest: K-Klass
They've had five top 40 singles, remixed artists such as听Bobby Brown, Kylie Minogue, Geri Halliwell, S Club 7 and M People,听produced for the Pet Shop Boys, Candi Staton and The Corrs and set up their own record label.

Tonight we hear from the electronica act K-Klass.

They've had an incredible career but now say the money is in live performance.

We'll get their top tips for new musicians on this week's show.

成人快手 Introducing at Nozstock

成人快手 Introducing at Nozstock
This month's sessions were recorded at Nozstock near Bromyard.

Russell Howard describes it as "a rural slice of English eccentricity" and Phill Jupitus & The Blockheads say "Nozstock is the best festival of its size in the UK".

This event started as a family BBQ more than 15 years ago that just got out of hand!听

Headliners, this year, included听Seasick Steve,听Happy Mondays,听Hayseed Dixie听and听Goldie Lookin Chain.

We were there on the Sunday hosting our very own 成人快手 Introducing stage; highlights will be broadcast throughout August here on 成人快手 Hereford & Worcester.

11 - 13 August: Down On The Farm, Abbeydore, Golden Valley

11 - 13 August: Down On The Farm, Abbeydore, Golden Valley
Down On The Farm gives local artists, playing original music, a chance to play alongside established acts.

They have a main stage with a mix of rock, blues, folk and indie plus an acoustic stage that Hereford Live are helping with that will have a mix of local acts.

Having only been going since 2012, they've already played host to acts such as Dr & The Medics and this year welcome Dr Feelgood.

The owner of Gwatkin Cider, Denis Gwatkin, has played in several bands since his teenage years with most of the practice sessions and performances being at the farm.

It therefore felt like a natural progression to get other bands to play on his farm as well, and that blossomed into the festival as we find it at present.听

So we'll be there!

18 - 19 August: PERfest, Bromsgrove

18 - 19 August: PERfest, Bromsgrove
A Bromsgrove couple who lost their baby daughter are launching a music festival to raise funds towards a maternity unit for families going through the same devastating loss.

Samantha Pedley and Daniel Roberts鈥 daughter Poppy Elizabeth Roberts was born sleeping at 18 weeks on 27 May this year.

The couple stayed in the specialist Faye Turner bereavement suite at Worcestershire Royal Hospital after Poppy was born.

Samantha, Daniel, their families and friends are now organising a festival in Poppy鈥檚 memory to raise money towards the 拢60,000 cost of a second suite.

PERfest is happening at The Park Gate Inn, Kidderminster Road, Dodford, on Friday 18 and Saturday 19 August. The festival gets its name from Poppy鈥檚 initials.

Samantha, aged 21, said: 鈥淲e were shown so much care and given all the time that we needed at the Faye Turner Suite. We were able to spend several days with Poppy and our families and friends were able to visit, which made things a lot easier for us. We want to make sure there is another suite for other families to use should they ever go through the same thing.鈥

Daniel, aged 25 and whose band Grafton Ash will be performing over the weekend, added: 鈥淲e want the festival to be a celebration in Poppy鈥檚 memory. We hope lots of people will join us for some great music to raise money for a really good cause.鈥
