How did a German schoolgirl end up in Mosul?
Amidst the rubble of Mosul, remarkable pictures have been emerging of the devastation caused by the offensive to re-take Iraq's second city from the so-called Islamic State.
As the Iraqi forces press forward, they have been capturing Isis fighters, many of whom are foreign nationals - just some of the thousands of men and women who travelled from around the world to join the false Caliphate.
German prosecutors are now investigating whether a 16 year old German schoolgirl - Linda Wenzel- from a little village near the town of Dresden is among a group of ISIS troops.
