two unique performance films made in collaboration with some of Scotland鈥檚 finest artists

Loop presents two unique performance films made in collaboration with some of Scotland鈥檚 finest artists. The first, To Be Seen, brings together dancer and choreographer Jack Webb with Arab Strap musician and composer Aidan Moffat. Inspired by Olivia Lang鈥檚 memoir The Lonely City, this short film is a contemplation on modern loneliness and our need to connect with one another, exploring the spaces between people and the desire to move from the past into the future.

The second film Baroque Underground is a kaleidoscopic musical and visual feast featuring Scottish Ensemble with German percussionist and composer Johannes Fischer and animator Cameron Duguid. Inspired by the sounds of the 18th century this is Tellmann鈥檚 Tafelmusik with a twist.
