Wiltshire man says he's lost faith in the NHS
David West, from Corsley Heath near Warminster was wrongly told by doctors in Salisbury that he had just months to live.
He was told he had liver cancer by Salisbury District Hospital - in fact he had a heart condition - which was picked up by doctors in America when he went there for a second opinion.
He says he's been left thousands of pounds out of pocket.
Salisbury District Hospital has apologised for the anxiety it has caused Mr West and have ensured that lessons learned have been shared with the clinical teams.
