SFA's Gruff Rhys on 'Set Fire To The Stars'
Gruff Rhys of Super Furry Animals chats to Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie about his solo concerts, the joys of editing VHS tapes for use as musical backdrops, and what happened to the bottles from the Hotel Shampoo exhibition.
With nine studio albums under the band's belt, Gruff also has made time for a burgeoning solo career. His most recent venture is a soundtrack album for the film Set Fire To The Stars starring Elijah Wood. This month he'll be touring the album for the first time with members of surf poppers Y Niwl as his backing musicians.
