With Brexit and President Trump's rise, has the tide turned against global free trade? Paul Everitt, chief executive of the ADS Group, the trade body for companies in the UK Aerospace and Defence industries, tells us what's at stake for his sector. Ryan Loyd reports from the town of San Antonio in southern Texas, not far from the Mexican border, speaking to companies worried about President Trump's threat to scrap the North American Free Trade Agreement, or NAFTA. But Shanker Singham, director of economic policy and prosperity studies at the Legatum Institute, a London-based educational charity focused on alleviating poverty, says that while President Trump's rhetoric on trade sounds protectionist, the details may prove otherwise.
