Trump to Restrict Immigration From Muslim Countries

The countries affected are reported to be Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia and Yemen.

According to a draft executive order leaked to the US media, President Trump wants to impose an indefinite ban on refugees from war-torn Syria. The broader US refugee admissions program would be suspended for 120 days. And all visa applications from seven countries deemed to be a terrorist threat would be halted for 30 days. The countries affected are reported to be Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia and Yemen.

They're angry at government plans to build a coal-fired power plant near a world heritage site. We talk to Mahfuz Ullah, secretary general of the Dhaka-based campaign group, the Centre for Sustainable Development.
