A poem for a difficult year
2016 was a tough year. It was the year of a contentious US election season. The year of Brexit. The year of terrorist attacks all over the world. In the aftermath of many of these tragic or difficult events, there has been one poem consistently shared over and over again. It’s been read by nearly a million people. The poem is called “Good Bones,’’ and its author is Maggie Smith.
