Connected Histories (part two): Muslims in the First World War
Commemorations of the First World War began in 2014 but has there been enough on the contribution of Muslim soldiers?
A new project is highlighting the contributions of Muslims in World War One - 430,000 served as part of the British Indian army.
Some of their stories have been brought together for the first time. In this second part ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ's Ruchi Tandon takes a look at some of those hidden histories and how they may help connect communities today in 2016….
