A modern dessert, inspired by ancient times
Katy Blanchard has two passions: baking and archaeology. She is in charge of the Near Eastern collections at the University of Pennsylvania Museum where she spends a lot of time with ancient clay tablets from early Mesopotamia. One day, it occurred to her that these tablets look like biscuits. The ‘cuneiform cookies’ were born.
