Comedy consultant Colm O'Regan compares his experience as a parent, to that of a central banker. As the world's finance ministries battle to revive their economies, they've turned more and more to central banks who have slashed interest rates in the rich world and launched massive programmes of quantitative easing. But are these remedies still working? Or as Colm puts it ... have the central bankers run out of ways to discipline their unruly children?
