Herb Alpert came to watch a bullfight. He emerged with a signature sound
Herb Alpert was the poster boy for global sounds in the 1960鈥檚. He was also the 鈥淎鈥 of the A&M record label. And he plays a horn that鈥檚 kind of jazzy, kind of loungey, kind of south of the border. His goal, he says, has always been to create an original sound.
