Campaign to buy Paralympic tickets for Rio kids
The Paralympics start in Rio de Janeiro is imminent - but only 12 per cent of the tickets have been sold. It had been looking like the athletes would be competing in near-empty stadiums.
Jack Chew wasn't too happy with that, so he came up with a campaign for people to buy up the spare tickets to distribute for free to local children.
Jack said: 鈥淭he outrage of them competing in empty stadia started this, so we got onto a crowd funding site, and it turns out other people are feeling the same.鈥
The campaign has started to gather steam, raising 拢3,000 so far. 鈥淓very little helps so we can get as many bums on seats as we can,鈥 added Jack
