Stacey and Elle are both based in Glasgow. They became friends after connecting on Target's Noticeboard. DJ Target is a DJ on Radio 1 Xtra and Target's Noticeboard is a resource through which aspiring musicians and artists can connect with one another. They're both musicians; Stacey is a rapper goes under the name Ladyboss and Elle makes dance music as one half of The Rhetoriks. The Rhetoriks recently released an EP called 'Our Pain, Your Pleasure'. Stacey recently had a big health scare when she was discovered to have a colloid cyst; a rare kind of benign brain tumour. Her recovery from this event has proven to be a rich new source of inspiration for her songwriting.
