European countries began building offshore wind farms a generation ago. But as of right now, in the US, there are exactly zero wind farms. That鈥檚 about to change though. Recently, America鈥檚 first wind turbine was completed off the coast of Rhode Island. It鈥檚 part of a five-turbine project that could be finished by the end of the month.
