Arsenal鈥檚 lack of pre-season transfer business is 鈥榩oor planning and poor management鈥� by Arsene Wenger, according to journalist John Cross.

Arsenal have only signed three senior players in defender Rob Holding, midfielder Granit Xhaka and striker Takuma Asano, with the squad being hit by injuries in pre-season.

鈥淟ook at the benefit when Chelsea last won the title, Jose Mourinho did his business early,鈥� Cross said.

鈥淟ook at what Manchester United did this summer, they鈥檝e hit the ground running because they good signings early.

鈥淚 think it is a failing of Arsene Wenger and I do think it is poor planning and poor management, but I wonder if he鈥檚 getting enough support,鈥� he added.
