A Hay-on-Wye band have played the gig of a lifetime after being selected to perform at T In The Park after being put forward by 成人快手 Introducing.

Apart from their lead singer, the members of Cherryshoes all like to remain anonymous - and even wear masks, on stage, to hide their faces!

In their own words: "We're boiling up a powerful and heady mix of magical mercurial disharmony, persistent pulsating rhythm and an extraordinary spellbinding vocal".

The collective were united by the spirit of the singer's hill-farming, street-fighting, glam-rocking, crossdressing biker uncle - who's sadly no longer with us.

They sing about mad pre-madonnas, real life vampires, wild horses, obsessional love and stalking, all of which will appear on their new album recorded by Jim Eliot - the man who produces Ellie Goulding, Will Young, Kylie Minogue, Rae Morris and Olly Murs.

What an incredible time we had last weekend at Lakefest, which took place on the site of the former Big Chill at Eastnor Deer Park.

The festival had moved from its former location, near Evesham, and in the process - doubled the audience.

Headliners included Primal Scream, Starsailor, We Are Scientists, Newton Faulkner and The Coral.

We had a stage at the event for the three days, showcasing local talent from Herefordshire & Worcestershire - and the crowd loved it!

Busking with Seal

A busker from Worcester's gone from singing for her supper to performing in front of thousands after being spotted on the street by pop star Seal.听

Poppy Waterman Smith was busking when the RnB singer's team noticed her and called him over to perform a duet with her.听

The 23-year-old was then invited to his sell out show as his warm up act.

19 - 21 August: Pershore Jazz Festival

Pershore Jazz has grown from small beginnings to becoming a well-respected part of the British jazz scene.

While their regular jazz club tends to be more traditional, the festival provides scope for a much wider range of jazz appreciation and they feel that following only one particular style means missing a lot of 'good' music.

Pershore Jazz are a not-for-profit organisation run by an unpaid committee dedicated to the cause of quality jazz for all to enjoy.

Singing

Singing

We have long known the power of a good sing-along.

Now, research from the University of Oxford has shown that singing is a great ice-breaker and can get groups of people to bond together more quickly than other activities can.

So we put the theory to the test with Worcestershire musician and vocal coach Eli Cameron.

成人快手 Introducing at the Worcester Music Festival

成人快手 Introducing at the Worcester Music Festival
成人快手 Introducing in Hereford & Worcester supports unsigned, undiscovered and under-the-radar musicians from Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

Since 2011, we've been taking the show out on-the-road showcasing the very best musicians from our area.

Our next recording session takes place at the , as part of this year's , on Sunday 18 September to record several acts who we've been playing on 成人快手 Hereford & Worcester recently.

We'll bring the bands - all we need now is the fans!

None of these artists knew they were being considered for a live session - they were chosen based on the tracks they uploaded to us.

It's free to get in - but you must be prepared to make lots of noise for local music!

Doors open at 6pm, but you're more than welcome to turn up any time until 10pm.
