'The more comedy you do the more relief there is in the solitude of writing' Mark Watson on the writing and stand-up lifestyles
'A lot of the things that are nice about the book industry also make it hard to sell books' Mark Watson compares and contrasts the writing and stand-up lifestyles.
Mark Watson's a regular on the comedy circuit, having previously adopted a Welsh accent to do his routine as it made him 'more comfortable to be talking in a voice that I didn't quite recognise as my own'. He's also adapted Dylan Thomas' A Child's Christmas in Wales for 成人快手 Television, and has written 5 novels! He joins Stuart to talk about his latest offering.
