Identical but different: Lola and Nancy
Lola and Nancy are 10 year old identical twins. Nancy has ambitions to be an actress or perhaps a paralympian horse rider and she鈥檚 well on the way having already had success at the National RDA championships. Lola wants to be a gymnast or a vet when she grows up, unless she becomes a famous pop singer.
The twins were born 9 weeks early as their mum Tracey had twin-to-twin transfusion, a condition which only happens with identical twins, where one twin takes all the blood from the other. As a result, Nancy has hemiplegic Cerebral Palsy on her right side.
Most of the time they get on well and when they do fall out it鈥檚 not for long. They also have times when they join forces to gang up on their parents or their long suffering big brother Angus but they adore him most of the time. Here they discuss their strengths and weaknesses and explore the special bond they have with each other.
