From Worcester rises the heavy laced rock of HUMM.

When the music starts, dark Victoriana bursts into apoplectic rock 'n' roll, fizzing with a fun kind of fury.

Guitarist Ebony Clay and bassist Jack Thomas smash out brawny, off-time riffs that evoke the darker moments of Led Zep IV.

The space they, and rampant drummer Sam Jenkins, create offers singer Andy Teece room to spit rhythmic vocals that suggest a super-charged Tom Waits is front and centre.

Livestock Festival

Livestock Festival

Around 4,000 people are expected to come to Worcestershire this weekend to attend one of the country's newest music festivals.

Livestock - which was launched last year - is set in Longdon, near Upton.

Acts this year include Jason Donovan, Reef, Chesney Hawkes and the Fratellis.

Malvern Rocks cancelled

Malvern Rocks cancelled

The organisers of the Malvern Rocks Festival have announced they've cancelled this year's event.

They say they wanted to put the festival on a more professional footing, with bands receiving a fee for performing.

However the festival needed to become a Charitable Incorporated Organisation and that process has run into delays.

Here's a statement from the organisers: "We started planning the festival shortly after last year's successful event and came to the conclusion that to grow and expand we would benefit from becoming a Charitable Incorporated Organisation or CIO.

"Becoming a CIO would put us on a different legal footing to the voluntary organisation we started out as. This would enable us to apply for grants through the Arts Council and other bodies which in turn would give us the funds required to put on the festival.

"Our big plan for this year was to move away from being a charity event with our performers playing for free, to a more professional event with remuneration for artists, sound engineers, PA suppliers, organisers and helpers. We also wanted to get some 'big-name' bands to headline the festival and have some 'pop up' marquee venues in parks around the town. These marquees would also serve as venues for spoken word, comedy, literature and theatrical events that would take Malvern Rocks into new territory as a Music and Performing Arts Festival.

"At first it seemed changing our status to a CIO would be a relatively simple and straight forward process. However, that has not proved to be the case. Each step in the process has held up our planning while making grant applications has impinged on our deadline. Given that we are a small organisation (this year we have a core group of four) we have also been short of time as individuals as we all have daytime jobs. As a result we are too far behind to realistically put on a successful festival, and rather than do it badly we would prefer to put our efforts into making next year's Malvern Rocks the event it deserves to be."

The Campfire Convention

The Campfire Convention

A brand new event, that encourages discussion and a sense of community is being set up in Herefordshire.

Organised by the man who founded the Big Chill Festival, The Campfire Convention is built around storytelling, networking and sharing knowledge in beautiful rural and coastal locations.

The first, of which, will be taking place at The Bridge Inn, Michaelchurch Escley, just few miles away from where the first ever Big Chill took place on the Black Mountains.

Founder Pete Lawrence says: "Come and experience and contribute to a lively mix of talks, panels, workshops and discussions, with a Saturday evening knees up with live music and DJs.

"Brian Eno has just accepted our invitation as keynote speaker and we're also pleased to welcome the legend that is Greg Wilson to our first Saturday night DJ slot as well an appearance on a Sunday panel on protest and counterculture."

成人快手 Introducing at the Wychwood Festival

成人快手 Introducing at the Wychwood Festival
For the last few years, we've been taking over one of the main stages at the Wychwood Festival, on Cheltenham Racecourse, showcasing some of the very best acts from across Herefordshire & Worcestershire.

It's a relationship that began with the seven counties that surround Gloucesteshire all putting forward their favourite acts - a competition, it seems, that we have won!

Once again, we encountered blistering heat as the sun shone down on the Prestbury Hills and welcomed five acts, to the stage, who we'll be broadcasting through July and early August.

Glastonbury: Years and Years

Glastonbury: Years and Years

They topped the 成人快手 Music Sound of 2015 list and now Years & Years have just played their second Glastonbury Festival.

Lead singer Olly Alexander studied Performing Arts at Hereford College Of Arts and became the band's lead singer after meeting at a house party and was overheard singing in the shower!

He then went on to support last year's 成人快手 Music Sound Of winner Sam Smith.

  • Lineups for Livestock Longdon, the Drunken Monkey Festival near Upton and Truefest near Hay-on-Wye.
  • The debut album from Viola Beach - the 成人快手 Introducing band killed in a car crash in February - looks set to reach number one in the album chart.

成人快手 Introducing at Lakefest

成人快手 Introducing at Lakefest
成人快手 Introducing in Hereford & Worcester supports unsigned, undiscovered and under-the-radar musicians from Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

Since 2011, we've been taking the show out on-the-road showcasing the very best musicians from our area.

Our next recording session takes place from Friday 12 - Sunday 14 August at on Eastnor Deer Park where we'll be showcasing several acts who we've been playing on 成人快手 Hereford & Worcester recently.

We'll bring the bands - all we need now is the fans!

None of these artists knew they were being considered for a live session - they were chosen based on the tracks they听.
