Lydi P. Hodge says of her choice of Listening Project conversation between Beryl and Graham:

"When I was given the recording of Beryl and Graham鈥檚 conversation, I found Beryl鈥檚 story of meeting with Stan to be very endearing, so most of my animation is focused on the story because of that. After looking at some animated Red Bull adverts, I decided to go for a simplistic style when I approached the making of my animation. I got a giggle while listening to some parts of the whole track, so I tried to add a few features what would hopefully be comical such as the three wheeled car and Beryl鈥檚 realisation scene at the end, almost like a small romantic-comedy. By adding the comical elements along with the small romantic scenes, I hoped to make an animation that could encourage a smile much like how I smiled while listening to Beryl鈥檚 story to Graham."
