Piles of rubbish dumped at Fishponds removed by volunteers
Black bags full of shredded paper. Sofas and armchairs. Bike helmets. Sleeping bags.
Just some of the items found during a Day of Action, carried out by volunteers at Fishponds on the Southbrook estate in Daventry.
I spoke to the co-ordinator of the Clean and Green project in Daventry, Angelina Farrant, who had been out with volunteers.
