The Oxford Book Club - Sarah Franklin - 10th May 2016
David Prever is joined by writer, editor and lecturer in publishing at Oxford Brookes University, Sarah Franklin.
They talk about the big winners at this year's British Book Industry Awards.
Sarah reviews the new novel by Chris Cleave, "Everyone Brave is Forgiven". It's the story of two people during WWII: a soldier and a moneyed woman who wants to become a spy.
After David spoke to a journalist in Edmonton about the wildfires in Canada, Sarah suggests "On The Burning Edge" by Kyle Dickman. It's a non-fiction account of the "Hotshots" - the extreme fire fighters who go where others wouldn't dare.
