Hillsborough survivor: I never thought I'd see truth out

A survivor of the Hillsborough disaster, in which 96 football fans died as a result of a crush, says he is 鈥渙verwhelmed鈥 after the inquest s concluded they were unlawfully killed.

The jury decided the match commander Ch Supt David Duckenfield's actions amounted to "gross negligence" due to a breach of his duty of care to fans.

Police errors also added to a dangerous situation at the FA Cup semi-final.

The jury also concluded the behaviour of Liverpool fans did not contribute to the dangerous situation at the turnstiles.

Outside the court, Robert Langton said of the verdict: 鈥淚 never thought I鈥檇 see the day鈥 the truth has come out today and people will believe now that from day one, we were telling the truth.鈥
