Steel: Lessons of Ravenscraig loom over Port Talbot

Residents of Ravenscraig in North Lanarkshire say there will always be a demand for steel.

The steel works there used to produce nearly a million tons a year, but the plant was shut down in 1992 and the vast cooling towers were blown up four years later.

Mark Mardell has been to Ravenscraig to hear how people living there now regret the loss of the plant and say steel is a vital part of the British economy.
