100 Years on – the WW1 letters found in an attic
Steve Reynolds was doing a loft conversion in his house in Porth, when he came across two 100-year old hand-written letters in a dusty box in his attic. Both are written by a woman called Lizzie to a man named Isaac, and one includes details of "an awful air raid" on The Strand in London, in which many lives were lost. The date on the postal stamp reads October 1915. Steve is trying to track down the relatives of both the writer and the recipient with the help of Mark Stanfield.
