From fast runs to fast cars...
Since retiring from cricket, former New Zealand batsman Nathan Astle has taken up Sprintcar racing.
Stumped's Alison Mitchell and Clint Wheeldon ask him how he came to pick up the sport, the types of car they drive, the speeds he gets up to and the dangers involved.
Astle speaks of his going against driving instincts when competing: "your natural reaction is to take your foot off the accelerator because you are getting into a corner and you're going towards a concrete wall...but the cars turn better when you are going faster".
He also admits his wife "hates it and struggles to watch".
